India may not always have had a population of over a billion individuals, but the subcontinent has always been home to numerous religious beliefs, ethnic backgrounds and realms, so there is a lot more than one tale below of LGBTQ+ civil liberties and acknowledgment. As a whole, however, India was traditionally forgiving of LGBTQ+ relationships, wit
